Storytelling
A lively and engaging storyteller, Halle Kananack has been telling stories on the stage, around the fire, and at community and holiday gatherings for several decades.

Halle loves how storytelling is authentic to the human experience, and appreciates its ability to ground, connect, and inspire people of all ages.
Halle's journey into the world of storytelling began through her deep connection to her own Jewish heritage, telling the story of the Exodus every year at Passover seders. This led to telling the many other stories associated with Jewish holidays, and then to learning and sharing folktales and legends from cultures around the world.
Today, Halle seeks out stories and storytellers from all corners of planet earth, and tells stories in a wide variety of settings, including schools, festivals, educational & historical events, and celebrations of all kinds. All peoples in every region of the earth have their stories - to teach their history, explain natural phenomenon, and pass along wisdom. Stories are a gift meant to share.

Halle is especially dedicated to learning and sharing the stories, history and wisdom of Native American tribes.
Connect
I'm eager to learn new stories and connect with other storytellers.
